Night & Day Dance continue to sponsor a girl from a deprived area in India where families suffer malnutrition and lack of clean water. Her name is Sonam and she is now 11 years old. We have also bought a goat for a family in Sudan and have paid to train a farmer in India. www.worldvision.org.uk
We are also pleased to be sponsoring our Guide dog puppy called Freddie. He is gorgeous and is our 3rd Guide dog. Dotty failed at the last hurdle as she was too busy watching butterflies but Sparkle went on the become a fully fledged Guide Dog. www.guidedogs.org.uk/
During the last couple of years we have also donated over £1,400 to Macmillan charity plus money to Help the Heroes. We have also made donations to pay for 2 children to go to school and to buy vegetables and farming tools for 2 families in Myanamar. We have also bought a therapy bench for a local girl age 2 who has CASK syndrome. This will help her to walk. Additionally we have given money to Royal Marsden and Help the Heroes and other small local charities.
Most recently we raised £1,020 for Melody at our charity dance in Lingfield. This money helped the family to have a wheelchair ramp fitted at their Surrey home.
The money for these sponsorships comes from your entry fee to our classes so we are very grateful to you for enabling us to do this.
